How To

How do you clean your drone?

Before cleaning your drone, here are some tips. This guide will help ensure that your drone gets every bit of its potential.

  1. Be sure to have all the tools you need. You should have everything you need to start any project. You will need a soft toothbrush (or a brush) and a cleaning product (we recommend WD40).
  2. Disconnect the battery pack. First, get rid of the battery. It's usually quite easy to find the battery under the propeller, so don't worry if you're unsure where it is. Ensure that you don't lose any screws when removing the propeller.
  3. You will need to remove all parts. Next, you'll need to carefully remove all of the parts from the underside of your drone. Check that none of them are loose, as they may fall off when you try to clean the machine.
  4. Use a cleaning product. Now, clean your drone. We recommend that you use WD40 as a cleaning agent before doing this. Spray the entire drone with the cleaner. Make sure to get between every component. Leave it to dry completely before putting everything back together.
  5. Replace the battery. Once you have cleaned the drone, make sure to put it back in its place. You'll be able test the drone's performance after it has been cleaned.
