How To

How can I clean my drone?

The tips below are some things you should know before cleaning your drone. If you want to make sure you get every last bit out of your drone, then read this guide!

  1. You need the right tools. Make sure that you have all the tools you need before you begin anything. You'll need a soft brush (or a toothbrush) and cleaning solution (we recommend WD40)
  2. You must remove the battery pack. First, get rid of the battery. It's usually quite easy to find the battery under the propeller, so don't worry if you're unsure where it is. Take care to not loose any screws while removing it.
  3. Take off all parts. Next, you'll need to carefully remove all of the parts from the underside of your drone. Make sure they're not loose or damaged as they might fall off during cleaning.
  4. Use a cleaning product. It's now time to clean your drone. We recommend using WD40 for cleaning. Use the cleaner to spray your drone's entire surface. Be sure to get in between all components. Allow it to dry completely before you assemble everything.
  5. Install the battery. The battery should be reattached after cleaning the drone. That way, you'll be able to test how well your drone works after being cleaned.
